At TRA, we believe every child is unique, special and has what it takes to learn, given the right environment. We know that children who have positive attitudes towards their learning make good progress and are usually successful. Consequently, instilling our students with growth mindset is a key priority in our school. The growth mindset concept revolves around the belief that Intelligence, ability and performance can be fostered and improved upon, and that students can be helped to learn effectively and efficiently by de-emphasizing any perceived fixed mindset orientation they may have.
By introducing and integrating this concept in our teaching approach at TRA we are able to inculcate love of learning, nurture confidence, resilience and grit in our students. We motivate all our students to relish challenges, embrace their mistakes as part of the learning process, value the importance of effort, respond carefully to feedback and take inspirations from others. This approach we believe will help them to be successful, not only in school work, but also in their future lives as adults.
