Our aim is to give your child the best possible start to life in school and to see them progress to be happy, independent and responsible people. We hope that the information contained within this prospectus will be useful to you as it will explains the main things you need to know about the school.
At TRA, we have high expectations of children and all the adults within the school’s community. We expect everyone to treat people with care and respect as enjoined by Islam. Here at TRA, we care that the curriculum and the opportunities provided allow children and staff to reach their full potential and provide them with the skills that will equip them for the future. To ensure the best outcomes for the children of TRA, we need to build good partnerships between school, children and home. TRA At Glance
The Rehla Academy (TRA) was born out of the desire to meet the educational and spiritual needs of Nigerian Muslim children, with a vision to develop a well-rounded Muslim who will not only excel academically but will also be morally upright. The school was founded on the vision of the Chairman, and we opened our doors in September, 2018.
TRA is located in Abeokuta; in a quiet and serene environment that is conducive for learning.
Our curriculum is a blend of the Islamic Education (Tarbiyah Model), the British Curriculum and the Nigerian National Curriculum with a design that emphasizes the education of the “TOTAL PERSON”.
We seek to create an atmosphere that provides a variety of learning experience and allows each student the freedom to achieve his/her full potential within the limits of what Islam permits. We hope to educate students in ways that would make them compassionate, confident, disciplined, hardworking, selfless, creative and innovative.
We adopt a “WHOLE CHILD” approach to education.
